Taking Care of your piece

  • All the tufted pieces I've created so far are delicate decorative pieces and are best suited to be placed on your walls, but can be placed on the floor as well.
  • If you choose to use it on the floor, keep in low traffic areas and do not place any heavy items on top of it.
  • Keep away from most household creatures, dog bites and cat scratches will cause irreparable damage.

Cleaning

  • To remove dust or debris, you can periodically use a lint roller or hold the tapestry in the air and gently beat its back.
  • You can also gently vacuum your piece, but do not use any brush tool attachments or beaters.
  • In case of stains, spot clean with a damp cloth.
  • Never machine wash, submerge in water, steam or iron.
  • If over time stray strands of yarn come a little loose, snip them at the same height as the rest of the loops and it will blend in with them again.
  • If over time and use you notice a little fluff or fuzziness coming off the yarn, you can use a fabric defuzzer/shaver to get rid of it.
